What O’Daniel lacks in size and speed at the linebacker spot, he makes up for with production and consistency. Ten years ago he might not be a factor in the NFL Draft, but now the NFL defensive landscape has changed and guys who can cover ground quickly and see the field with his size are valued.
O’Daniel excels on special teams and relishes in contact and making big hits. He is a one year starter at an elite program but proved to be a key component in their 2017 success on the field. Sideline to sideline speed and ability to cut the edge off for opponents, O’Daniel reads and reacts quickly.
