Took a little time to settle in and love the position of defensive back after playing years at receiver, but Hendrick has developed a passion that has led him to be one of the top defenders in the PSAC.
Hendrick has a long and athletic frame. He displays good quickness and agility. Diligent in picking up the tendencies of opponents via watching and breaking down film. Fine ball skills, evident by his 21 career interceptions. Plants and drives on the ball and will come up hard in run support.
He has been team captain over the last two years and has stepped in and played as a true freshman, in 2015. Hendrick has continued to improve each season since then and leaves the program as one of the most decorated defensive backs in the school’s history.
He shows the production and coverage instincts to make a roster.
