The Show To Know Before They Go Pro
C2P- What type of scheme did you run in college? What did coaches ask of you? TG – Kansas State: 4-3 Defense University of New Mexico: 3-3-5 Coaches wanted me to do what I normally do, I came in to play safety at both programs and that’s what I did. At the University of New Mexico my biggest role was special teams, the coaching staff believed that I wasn’t ready to be on the field, so I took that as motivation to continue being a key factor to the team and that’s when I volunteered to be on all special teams. C2P – What are the hallmark qualities of your ability on the field that NFL scouts will immediately identify? TG – Student of the game, Playing with urgency, very strong work ethic, and relentless in the field of battle. I have great tackling abilities and I can also cover ground. I can run with most receivers and all TE’s. C2P – What positive abilities go hidden? Maybe the scheme didn’t allow you to showcase curtain aspects of your game or leadership qualities or game film study? What do scouts need to know about you they have yet to find out? TG – Things that go hidden are things like film study, practicing with a game like mentality, perfecting my craft in every way. I don’t work to win I work to get better. I am a person that is willing to put it all on the line to be the best. You may be able to coach technique and skill but you can’t coach work ethic, and in the pros the hardest working man gets the job. C2P – What is something positive said to you by coaches that motivates you to keep getting better? TG – That I am a selfless person and willing to do whatever it takes to help the team win. I am not a guy who complains about the situation I’m in, I only embrace it and move on. I have been dealt the craziest hands when it comes to football but I always come out victorious by having a positive attitude. C2P – Was there anything ever said negative that helps you grind towards your goal that you use as motivation? Who said it? TG – Not really, the only thing that motivate me is being underrated, I love to prove people wrong and be far more capable then what they expect. I have high expectations for myself even if the next man don’t. C2P – Anything interesting as a person we should know about you – Any interesting aspects of your life that are worthy of mentioning? Hobbies etc… TG -I am the first in my family to play football at a division 1 school and also the first in my family to be in a master’s program. I am looking to be the first in my family to go pro… C2P – Any contact with NFL teams? TG – Not yet, but soon..real soon. C2P – Height/Weight leaving high school and current Height/Weight now? TG – HS: 5’11 190lbs Current: 6’0 215lbs
C2P – Were you a team captain? TG – I was never a team captain but I have always been a big brother to many of my former teammates that I have encountered. C2P – How many concussions have you had? TG – 0 C2P – How many career starts? TG – 3 C2P – Two good reasons to pay taxes? TG – To help with community projects, at least I hope that’s what my taxes are going to. C2P – Have you ever been arrested? TG – No C2P – One word to describe your ability on the field? TG – Aggressive C2P – Would you rather be a cat or a dog? TG – A dog at all times!

Excellent size and established background at safety and on special teams. Tempo-setting figure in the secondary. Green is very instinctive and quickly diagnoses run or pass and gets to where he need to be. Straight-linish in approach but his ability to locate and explode into the ballcarrier is exceptional. Tough and aggressive and plays to the ball fast. Not a lot of sudden quick-twitch movements, although on tape your going to find a guy who stays clear of blocks and very rarely is impeded from his target. May freelance and do his own thing at times. Has the pure traits to get looks late and be camp body, and if he shows enough range and instincts in zone-coverage he’ll have a shot. A guy I like I moving forward.
