Personal
Full name is Storm Willis Norton…Birthdate: May 16, 1994…Parents are Phil and Karen Norton…Has an older brother, Beau…Criminal justice major.
Grew up thinking baseball may be the sport that gets him the farthest but eventually football emerged as the sport of choice for the Toledo tackle. He was recruited four offers (Toledo, Bowling Green, Kent State and Buffalo) and chose Toledo very early in the process.
Norton has exceptional size along with the ability to match. He has an NFL frame to play tackle at the next level. Norton knows how to use his length (wide wing-span) to his advantage. Displaying good feet he is able to react quickly to get into his stance and stem. He shows some nastiness and finishes his blocks. Plays with awareness and adjusts to stunts and blitzes. Agile enough deal with smaller quicker pass rushers.
Good football IQ and coachable. Norton was voted team captain for the Rockets. He played right tackle at the East West Shrine game after spending two years at left tackle showing some versatility under fire down in St. Petes.
