Not long ago the odds of Jackson having a legit shot in the NFL would have been very tricky with his size. With the emergence of former safeties Mark Barron (Los Angeles Rams Height: 6-2   Weight: 213) and Deone Bucannon (Arizona Cardinals Height:6-1 Weight:208) now sheds light on the talents of Jackson (Height: 5’11 Height: 216).

More accustomed to playing near the line of scrimmage rather than safety Jackson does possess the knack for finding the football and appears to have the hips to cover in short areas of space. Spent time sophomore season as stand-up defensive end before playing both outside and inside linebacker for the Wildcats. Studies the game and was a former walk-on who earned his scholarship. Real tweener between safety and linebacker. His ability to drop in coverage will have big impact on his eventual outcome.

Jackson is quick and agile. Reacts and flies to the football. Shows the range to work to the sideline and makes plays in chase and pursuit. Appears to have a good feel for the game. Fearless and energetic. Can become a core special team’s player.
