PITTSBURGH - The Pittsburgh Steelers finished week one with the second lowest rushing total (32) in the National Football League. Thirty four players had more rushing yards than the Pittsburgh Steelers in week one, leaving the Steelers to react. Isaac Redman fumbled twice, and had eight carries for nine yards. The Steelers third down back LaRod Stephens-Howling led the team with 19 yards rushing but was lost for the season suffering an ACL tear. Rookie Le'Veon Bell still a month away from returning, and new acquired Felix Jones getting adjusted the Steelers faced a dilemma.
