Oakland Raiders scheduled private workout with Dillon Farrell
Per source, the Oakland Raiders have a private workout scheduled with New Mexico center Dillon Farrel. A very versatile offensive lineman who resumed his career at center after spending 2011 at right tackle. Farrell brought veteran leadership and work ethic to the line in 2013. Named captain for the 2013 season at the end of spring practice, Farrell showed his toughness and leadership. He trained behind first team all-Mountain West center Erik Cook during his redshirt season, in 2009. Cook is now with the Washington Redskins. Amazing to think that he was 5-8 and 160 pounds as a ninth grader. In 2013, he was named to the 2013 Rimington Award preseason watch list, which goes annually to the best center in college football and earned an invite to the East West Shrine Game.
