Jackson State, CB / CB

|All Star Invites:||Senior Bowl|
Cox has shown the ability to be a lockdown corner in the league on the field. Cox can play special teams too. Cox is very physical and makes tackles at point of contact. He makes plays all over the field. Cox is the best man to man cover corner in college football, the film doesn’t lie. Cox has the ability to take away half the field, that’s the impact he brings to the game. He participated in the Medal of Honor Bowl and Senior Bowl showing his lockdown skills and finished with four tackles. He went up against the best wide receivers in the SWAC and was able to go head to head. The Jackson State University football program went to the Championship and came up short in overtime. Expect Cox to make a huge impact on an NFL team early in his career, especially in coverage. Cox separates himself from other corners because of his aggressiveness style of play. He is a confident cornerback and can play with the best when given opportunity play man 2 man & every chance he get to walk down in a WR face it’s going to be a long day for that WR.First one in the building, last one to come out kind of guy. His attitude, dedication, character, desire to succeed, work ethic, competitiveness, and motivation are of the highest level. He is a 4.45-4.5 speed cornerback that’s ready to work and learn to be a great player in the League. Finished his career with 146 tackles, 9.5 TFLs, 2 sacks, 10 INTS, 30 PBU, 2 FF, 1 FR, 4 QBH and 1 blocked kick.
