CLEMSON CB XAVIER BREWER

Exclusive one-on-one with ACC stand out Xavier Brewer.

Listen to internet radio with Players Platform Show on Blog Talk Radio

Xavier Brewer is one player from the ACC that might surprise as the NFL Draft process begins to heat up. Brewer had 39 unassisted tackles along with one interception and six pass break ups.

In Their Own Words

With your style of play does it remind us of any players in the NFL today?
"I look up to a lot of guys. Really people say I resemble  a lot of Ronde Barber or Charles Woodson. Those two players play a multiple of positions."

How about what NFL scouts might miss or do not know about you?
"I doubt scouts would even know, but I know my teammates and coaches know. I'm always in the film room."

What is the showroom floor part of your game?
"I would just say my versatility. I can play just about every position in the defensive back field. I think that teams definitely need defensive backs. I think I bring that other aspect to the table. If somebody goes down I'll be able to fill in at a different spot."

College2Pro Draft Analysis
Likes to be involved in the action. Has good size for a cornerback. Versatile player who can quarterback the secondary. Studies film and notes tendencies. A good athlete with decent hands. NFL bloodlines. Too smart and tough not to be in a training camp. Could be late-round pick. May not stand out at corner or safety, but has simply to much ability to not find a niche.
