Santavious Bryant

• 2015: Saved his final season for his best play of his career. He recorded 59 tackles, 18 tackles for loss and 8 sacks in helping anchor the secondary.
• 2014: Turned in his best-season ever as a starter… Turned in a career-best 33 solo stops and 18 assists… Had four tackles for losses and a sack… Had one interception and led the team with four pass break ups… Recovered two fumbles.
• 2013: Played in all 11 games becoming a key member of the Hawks’ defense… Had 32 solo tackles, the second most on the team, and nine assists… Recorded three tackles for losses… Intercepted a pass, broke up a pas and defended two passes… Recovered a fumble…. Blocked a kick… Named to the GSC’s Fall 2013 Academic Honor Roll.
• 2012: Saw action in all 11 games as a true freshman and got one start…Recorded 22 solo tackles, 17 assists and two tackles for losses…Broke up a pass, deflected a pass and recovered a fumble… Named to the GSC’s Fall 2012 Academic Honor Roll.

Good size and athletic ability. Bryant was a leader of the defense and able to be the coach on the field for the Hawks. He is able to digest the game and deliver it to coaches on the sidelines to help make adjustments. Quick to the ball he reacts well and played in a 3-3-5 that required him to be very disciplined in his assignments. Still a bit raw and level of competition will play factor moving forward like any small school prospect, but DNA to get a real look is in the cards. He plays fast and physical. Will support in the run and relishes the ability to hit. Can cover backs and tight ends.
