Participated in the 2012 Offense-Defense Bowl … Wrapped up his senior season with 40 tackles and three interceptions … Earned a four-star rating by 247sports.com and Rivals.com … Listed as a three-star prospect by Scout.com and ESPN.com … Ranked as the No. 10 cornerback and No. 118 overall nationally by 247sports … Rivals.com ranked him No. 26 at his position and No. 44 in the state of Florida … Named a PrepStar Top 300 All-American … Coached by Charles Hafley.

When he first started playing football as a youngster he was known for the “end around” due to his gifted speed. He was a track star who took to the game of football. The issues that plagued Robinson at LSU are well documented, but Robinson is committed to right his future from the missteps of his past.

“Teams asked me about what happened and I was honest with them,” said Robinson. “I hate leaving LSU like that. I learned from my past and I just want to be productive and accountable for everything.” Robinson trained for his Pro Day at XPE Sports Academy with Tony Villani and the joint effort resulted a times recorded between 4.28-37.

Despite his thinly built frame (6’2/180), Robinson relishes the physical nature of the defensive back position. His first game was against Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans (First-Round Selection) and he held his own and helping to establish himself early on in the Tigers secondary. Absent of any off the field issues, Robinson has the size and superb speed to match-up with NFL receivers. Will come up in support and tackle. His length, speed and ability to mirror receivers are simply too much to ignore.

Overall, Robinson has the physical ability to play at the next level, but off-the field trouble have dogged his career and he’ll need to convince NFL teams he is trustworthy of being on the 53-man roster. Thus far he has had interest from 15 NFL teams that includes the Chicago Bears, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles.
