Fant leaves Indiana’s as the Hoosiers all-time leader with 58 passes defended and 53 pass breakups. He appeared in 49 career games (36 starts) and made 132 tackles, 119 solo, five for loss (37 yards), five interceptions (68 yards), one pick-6 and three fumble recoveries. Fant added 53 punt return yards and 11 kick return yards.

He possesses great ball skills and shows suddenness to close and make plays on the ball. Shows the ability to flip his hips and stick to his man in coverage. Fant, ran a blistering 4.36 at Indiana Pro Day which confirms his recovery ability and second gear when needed. Brings confidence and swagger to the secondary and knows how to bait quarterbacks into bad throws. Lacks great size and is often times ridiculed for lack of run support, despite being very aggressive when lining up against opponents. He is simply to gifted in coverage skills to not make a 53-man roster and add in 4.3 speed, watch out.
