Father did not allow him to play until 8th grade due to his size and his father’s conscious of him not hurting other children. Rouse is a big, strong and powerful man with excellent size who can push the pocket and anchor. He ban be disruptive with knack for redirecting the play. He plays the run hard and gives good effort in pursuit. Limited explosion and burst. Strong powerful hands and is well versed at using them on opponents. Played in limited role at Purdue but production compare to his snap count is very impressive.
