2015 (r-Jr.) | Halpin returned from a back injury in fine form, starting all 14 games for the Hilltoppers and leading WKU’s offensive line to another record setting campaign. The Hilltopper front blocked for the school’s third-consecutive record breaker in passing offense and total offense, while paving the way for a sixth-consecutive 1,000-yard rusher. In Halpin’s 29 games of total action – 24 starts, the Hilltoppers have averaged 503.3 yards of total offense.
2014 (r-So.) | Halpin started the first three games of the season at center before a season-ending back injury sidelined him. Prior to injury he helped engineer a pair of 700-yard offensive efforts against Bowling Green and Middle Tennessee.
2013 (r-Fr.): Halpin entered the season as the No. 2 center behind longtime starter Sean Conway but immediately jumped into the starting role when Conway was injured against South Alabama in Week 3 of the season. Halpin started the final five games of the season, seeing action in all 12 and starting seven total. WKU was 6-1 with Halpin as the starting center and 7-1 including the Morgan State game when he took over for Conway after the game’s first offensive snap resulted in a 65-yard touchdown run for Antonio Andrews.
2012 (Fr.): Halpin redshirted in his first season on The Hill.
HS/Misc.: Halpin was a four-year letterwinner and three-year starter at Covington Catholic High School and was Honorable Mention All-State following his senior season. He was also selected as the starting center for the Kentucky Best of the Bluegrass All-Star game.

Walked on at Western Kentucky and quickly established himself as the anchor to a talented offensive unit. He is very coachable with good intangibles and size. Halpin plays with toughness and technique. He is technique oriented who realize on the art of the craft along with hard work. Good hand placement and footwork. Can latch on, grab and turn a defender to open a hole.
Quick off the ball, Halpin plays with a good base and natural knee bend. Has made big strides every year and continues to mature into the position. With recent run of successful prospects from Western Kentucky on the offensive line it is fair to say Halpin will play a factor moving forward towards the NFL Draft.
