Horton is an intriguing small-school prospect. Athletic on par with D1 prospects he possesses good size with explosiveness in his game. He showed that ability at the Gridiron Showcase with four sacks during a scrimmage.
Playing defensive end at Jacksonville he’ll transition into an outside linebacker at the next level. Competes hard and chases the ball. Versatile and has been able to display the knack to shed blocks. A good motor he is always around the ball.
Natural strength to take on blocks he can hold his own on the edge and push the pocket. Developmental prospect who has the mental make-up and physical attributes to gain attention of NFL and CFL teams.
