He picked up seven tackles for loss, and three sacks for a total loss of 44 yards. He also notched an interception, a pass deflection and a fumble recovery on the 2015 stat sheet. Kose was also the Grizzlies second leading tackler in 2014 with 117 stops.

2014: Jeremiah started in all but one game, South Dakota, last year. He had 117 total tackles, 44 unassisted, for an average of nine tackles per game. He had one sack for a loss of seven yards and two interceptions, four pass breakups and one fumble. He was named to the Big Sky Conference football third team on defense.

2013: He played in two games and was injured at North Dakota and lost for the season.

2012: He was recovering from an injury he suffered in junior college and was a redshirt at UM.

JC: He was a first team All-CIF, All-North County, and all-conference pick at linebacker at Palomar Community College for coach Dan Williams. He was also an All-Southern Conference and All-Country first team selection in 2011. He was second on his team as a freshman with 88 tackles, and tied for the team lead in sacks with five.

HIGH SCHOOL: His Vista High School team was the C.I.F. champion with a 13-1 record. He served as team captain his junior and senior seasons. He was chosen his squad’s defensive MVP as a senior.

Kose arrived from Palomar Community College after an initial offer from New Mexico State. A lapse in time voided his offer and he took his talents to the JUCO level and was named All-CIF at the linebacker position. There he quickly displayed to qualities that earned have become the hallmark of his game by impacting the game with his constant ability to locate the football.

Outstanding production. Displays tough and aggressive style of play. Good instincts to find and locate the football. Arrives with an impact. Does a good job of keeping his shoulders squared, shuffles and sheds blocks. Secure tackler. Has continued to get better every season in his college career. He can line up over the slot at times to cover and has smooth hips for a linebacker. May lack the size some teams seek at the position. It is possible he’ll struggle with more athletic blockers in the pros. Might fit perfect as a linebacker in a one gap defense.
