Rush has been playing quarterback since the fifth grade the first time he began playing organized football. He possesses experience after playing all four years at Central Michigan in a Pro Style offense. He displays good pocket presence and footwork. Favorite throw is the corner route which he executes extremely well.
He possesses good size and shows nice short ball accuracy. Quietly confident with a good quarterback demeanor, who should come across very poised in interviews with NFL teams. He knows where to go with the football and generally gets rid of the football quickly.
Rush should be a camp arm at the very least and with some solid preseason work could emerge as quarterback to compete for a back-up spot.
